The Affinquest team is thrilled to announce to the advancement community that as of February 1, 2019, we have transitioned from our legacy ISV (Independent Software Vendor) agreement with Salesforce to the latest and greatest version of that agreement. We’re delighted to refresh our relationship, to confirm our status as the leading enterprise-grade advancement services company, and to have our Salesforce partners remain an important part of the Affinaquest family!
Over the past few months, I’ve heard from quite a few customers and prospective customers who are curious to know, “What exactly does this partnership mean for us?” It’s a good question, so I’d like to offer you guys a few thoughts on the matter.
First and foremost, you’ll note that the initial word of our partnership relationship is “Independent.” At Affinaquest, we are definitely an independent bunch! We’re very pleased that Salesforce recognizes and respects the unique expertise of each of its partners.
Independence means we’ll be offering the same unvarnished advice and top-notch, enterprise-grade SaaS services to our customers. It also means that Affinaquest will remain at the vanguard of the advancement industry, setting the standards for innovation and robust functionality.
In deference to the unique characteristics of each of our customers, we will continue to look for the best product mix and the best combination of services and consulting. In short, you’ll have access to the same Affinaquest that you’ve known and trusted for the past decade!
Another advantage that you’ll quickly see will be enhanced levels of communication and alignment between AQ and the Salesforce field staff. We’re going to help guide them through the intricacies of the enterprise-grade advancement world, as well as provide them with a better understanding of the value of Affinaquest to our mutual customers. In turn, we expect them to work with us across the broad spectrum of Salesforce products to ensure that customers are properly informed of their many options.
As an enterprise-grade “Managed Package,” Affinaquest will continue to distribute, upgrade, and maintain our software in the same seamless manner as our customers have always enjoyed. We will likely also be visible on the “AppExchange” – not for distribution of course, but just for a little extra shout out!
Finally, you’re likely to see Affinaquest have a larger presence at Salesforce-sponsored events. Most immediately, we’ll be attending the ASU/Salesforce/Huron sponsored Advancement Workshop in Tempe on February 27th and 28th. ASU has been a marquee customer of Affinaquest since 2016, and we’ll be there to meet with them and a terrific group of prospective customers.
I’m sure there’s more that I’m missing, so we’ll try to cover those things in future posts and announcements. For now, Affinaquest is extremely pleased to welcome Salesforce into an even more fruitful partnership with our organization!
