Affinaquest is proud to announce new features as part of our 15th release. You’ll see a few highlights below and you can find a complete list of updates through the help desk.
“Release 15 is the most recent release from Affinaquest in a continuing series of enhancements ensuring that our clients can take advantage of the most recent innovations in Salesforce software, and can support changes in evolving advancement office operations. From a refactoring of the database to support more finely tuned security requirements to adding flexibility in producing gift summaries, we hope that the latest release will continue to future proof our software to meet the needs of our clients in an ever-changing environment,” Jeff Shy – Affinaquest founder and CTO said.
We hope you’ll agree that upgrading the summaries, permission sets, and new ways to track areas of study will make your jobs easier. Here’s how these can help you.
Advancement staff will find it helpful to pull up summaries on Gifts/Pledges as well as Transactions. You’ll be able to sort by the most recent and largest gifts too.
In addition, we’ve added Giving Club Summaries for the creation of giving levels and summaries for Gift Recognition Credits.
Also, Affinaquest completed the move to Salesforce Lightning.
Sometimes you want to upgrade donors or handle internal troubleshooting. Missing Permissions finder is a new tool to help. You can use it for Users, Profiles, and Permission Sets and you’ll be able to see:
- Lightning Contact Utilities
- SmartBatch Batch Closing
- SmartBatch Data Entry
This update will save you time when upgrading by automatically adding permissions for newly added fields or security changes.
Track Areas of Study
We added a new object that allows you to track multiple areas of study per Education row. For example, you can search by Majors and Minors. This helps segment your interest lists and better target your requests.
There’s also a Lookup List to track Areas of Study available at the home institution.
We hope you’ll find these new releases beneficial and they’ll help you achieve your fundraising goals.
Please reach out to the Affinaquest team if you have any questions regarding Release 15. We are working on Release 16, which we’ll release in August 2020. You can look for more details in future newsletters.
