Event Policies

Welcome to INSPIRE 2025! Affinaquest is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants. By attending this event, you agree to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:  

  • Treat everyone with kindness and consideration. Respect personal boundaries.
  • Embrace diversity and respect different viewpoints and experiences.
  • Engage actively and constructively in event activities.
  • Respect facility rules, follow staff instructions, and maintain professionalism at all times.  

Acknowledgment  

By attending INSPIRE 2025, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. In the case of a report or witnessed violation of these rules, the event organizer may take whatever actions it deems appropriate, including expulsion from the event without a refund, notification of the attendee’s employer, and/or disqualification from attendance at future events. Thank you for helping us create a positive and respectful event experience for everyone.  

Purpose  

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff at INSPIRE 2025. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for everyone, regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual orientation.  

Expected Behavior  

  1. Respect and Courtesy
  • Treat everyone with respect and courtesy.  
  • Communicate openly and thoughtfully and be considerate of the perspectives and opinions of others.  
  • Respect the personal space and boundaries of others.  
  1. Inclusion and Diversity
  • Embrace diversity and inclusion in all interactions and discussions. Promote an environment that welcomes people from all backgrounds.  
  1. Professional Conduct
  • Behave in a professional manner at all times.  
  • Use appropriate language and tone in all communications.  
  • Avoid disruptive behaviors that could interfere with the event or the experience of others.  
  1. Collaboration and Engagement
  • Participate actively in sessions, workshops, and discussions.  
  • Share knowledge and ideas in a constructive and collaborative manner.  
  • Listen to others and value their contributions.  
  1. Safety and Well-being
  • Follow all event safety guidelines and instructions.  
  • Report any concerns, harassment, or inappropriate behavior to event staff immediately.  

Unacceptable Behavior  

  1. Harassment and Discrimination
  • Any form of harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances, including but not limited to bullying, threatening, stalking, intimidation, insinuation or disparaging, inappropriate or sexually-motivated comments or jokes that are hurtful or interfere with any other attendee’s experience.  
  • Discrimination based on age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated under any circumstances.  
  1. Disruptive Behavior
  • Interrupting speakers or other attendees.  
  • Engaging in conduct that is intimidating, abusive, or threatening.  
  1. Inappropriate Language and Imagery
  • Using offensive or inappropriate language, jokes, or images.  
  • Displaying or sharing sexually explicit or violent material.  
  1. Unethical Behavior
  • Plagiarism or presenting someone else’s work as your own.  
  • Engaging in fraudulent activities or misrepresenting credentials.  
  1. Weapons
  • Possession of weapons or any item that can be used as a weapon, which may be used to threaten or cause injury to others, is strictly prohibited.  

Reporting and Enforcement  

  1. Reporting
  • If you witness or experience any violation of these rules, please promptly report the matter to one of the event organizer representatives  
  • Reports can be made in person to designated staff members or through the provided confidential reporting channels.  
  1. Enforcement
  • Event organizers will take prompt and appropriate action in response to any reported violations.  
  • Consequences for violating the Code of Conduct may include a  warning, expulsion from the event without a refund, and potential reporting to authorities if necessary.

  • We are committed to continually improving the inclusivity and safety of our events.
  • Attendees are encouraged to provide feedback to help us achieve this goal.
